Earth Day Hike & Lunch, welcome to all!

This Earth Day, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is calling upon supporters nationwide to lead or participate in service projects that benefit our environment and foster national unity. I work on the campaign and would like everyone and anyone to feel welcome to join my event - whether you're RFK All The Way, Kennedy Curious, and/or are concerned that RFK Jr.'s run is ultimately going to result in "the enemy" (whether that be Biden or Trump) becoming the next president of The United States.

My intention with this Earth Day Hike & Lunch event is to get people together to casually converse whilst doing something healthy for the body and earth, by hiking through one of the most beautiful open nature spaces Northern California has to offer: Windy Hill Open Space Preserve (it's dog friendly, the hike is moderate). The place is pretty clean (thankfully!), but we will also be bringing supplies to pick up any trash we see along the way. Then the plan is to follow the hike with lunch at nearby Alpine Inn, which is also dog and family-friendly and is set in a nature environment on the banks of Los Trancos Creek in Portola Valley. It also a beer garden and has outdoor flatscreens broadcasting sports content.
