Earth Day Cleanup Event with Boulder Climbing Community

Flagstaff Earth Day Stewardship Day 4/21/24
This event is hosted by BCC, Prana, and the CU Alpine Club, with support from Boulder Open Space and Mountian Parks, to help clean up Flagstaff Mountain for Earth Day. We will be an independent group joining this event, please wear your tshirts and hats and other swag to promote Kennedy!
Please sign the BCC waiver if you haven't already HERE.
Volunteers must sign a paper waiver for OSMP when they arrive on site.
Time: This event will take place from 8 AM to 11 AM.
Volunteers should meet at the Crown Rock Trailhead
Parking on Flagstaff is very limited! Please carpool.
- Volunteers should be prepared for early springtime Colorado weather (rain jacket, warm layers, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.) and bring plenty of water and snacks.
- Boulder Open Space and Mountian Parks provides gloves, tools, trash pick sticks, and trash bags.
- This is a light to moderate workday. We look to accommodate all skill levels & abilities by working as a team.
- Volunteers will be off-trail in steep and uneven terrain for the majority of the day.
- Closed-toed shoes/boots and long pants are required for the day of work.
- Some work will be near the road. Please keep in mind your surroundings and only cross the road at designated crosswalks.
- Because of the nature of the work, we ask that you leave your pets at home.
If you are a minor, please know we need a parent/guardian's signature on some volunteer waiver paperwork. Please contact us if that is the case.
PrAna Boulder is excited to keep the fun rolling with light bites, refreshments, a gear raffle, and added discounts in-store afterwards! Join us at 1145 Pearl St directly after clean-up has commenced at Flagstaff. Free parking is available in the garage off of Spruce and Broadway.
