Queens County Petition Kickoff at The Unisphere!
Join us at the iconic Unisphere and be part of history! Please join us as a volunteer on ANY level you can. At this kickoff event we will be collecting signatures and offering training for volunteers to collect signatures for ballot petitions. Clipboards and petitions will be available for you to get started. Whether you collect 5 signatures or 500, all are welcome and appreciated.
This is a grassroots campaign in support of democracy and a better choice. There are kickoff events going on all across the State. We need 45,000 signatures in six weeks in New York, but we are going for MANY more. This will make a statement and send a clear message: There IS a better choice!!!
The Unisphere is located in Flushing Meadow Park. If coming by car, there is parking at various locations within the park. The Unisphere is located right behind the Queens Museum, so GPS to either The Unisphere or Queens Museum of Art. Subway via the 7 train to Citifield and it’s about a 6 minute walk.
