Team Building Earth Day Hike

Earth Day Hike Sunday, April 21, 2024

Enjoy spring and celebrate Earth Day with a naturalist guided hike in the beautiful Pine Barrens of South Jersey. We will meet at the Visitor's Center next to the parking lot. Bring a lunch, hiking clothes and a rain jacket just in case! We’ll start out with a short hike (around 1 hour) and back for lunch. Then we will tour the village, which was a forge during the American Revolution that produced cannonballs for the American Navy and privateers who sailed on the Mullica River.

We’ll wrap up the day at the Batsto Visitor Center where you can purchase a book, photograph or a locally hand-crafted Pine Barrens themed item. For history enthusiasts, there is a walk through exhibit at the center highlighting the industrial and social activities of the village.
